Acceptable use

Content

You may not use Oat to prepare, store or publish content that:

• is unlawful where you are or where it is published, including defamation, incitement, threats or harassment;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including writing imported without permission;
• presents software-generated text as the verified work of a named person who did not review and approve it;
• contains malware, phishing, or instructions intended to make a model or a person act against someone's interest;
• sexualises minors, or promotes self-harm, violence or discrimination against protected groups.

Likeness and voice

Video and audio derivatives use avatars and voices from your own provider account. You may only use a likeness or a voice you have the right to use, with the consent the provider requires. Using someone else's face or voice without their agreement is a breach of these rules even if the provider allows it technically.

Accounts and connections

• Connect only accounts you are authorised to connect. Do not paste credentials that belong to someone else.
• Do not share your sign-in. Invite people to your workspace with their own roles instead.
• Do not try to reach another workspace, another member's session, or data you were not granted.
• Do not attempt to get around an approval, a role check, a rate limit or a provider's review requirement.

Channels

Do not use Oat to send unsolicited bulk messages, to post the same content repeatedly to flood a feed, or to breach the terms of a platform you connected. A provider that suspends your account over what you published has done so under its rules; we cannot reverse that.

The service itself

• Do not probe, scan or load-test Oat without written agreement; write to us first and we will arrange it.
• Do not scrape the desk or this site, or use them to build a competing model or dataset.
• Do not resell access or offer Oat to third parties under another name.

What happens on a breach

We may remove content, suspend a connection, a member or a workspace, and end access under the terms. Where we can, we tell you what was found and give you the chance to fix it. Where the law requires, we report. Reports of misuse go through the contact page.
